Five-Year Master Plan

The Utah Tech University Master Plan helps the physical campus better support the University’s mission and values, outlines the appropriate amount of space needed to support future populations, identifies essential infrastructure needs and opportunities, and highlights the University’s  commitment to the surrounding community.

2024 Utah Tech Master Plan

Utah Tech University completed a comprehensive master planning project during the 2023-2024 academic year. Steered by the Facilities Space Committee and guided by VCBO Architects + Sasaki, the 2024 Master Plan provides a long-term development vision for UT’s Main Campus and the newly planned South Campus.

Early in the process, the Steering Committee identified distinct vision statements for each campus location:

·        Support programmatic growth through strategic investment on Main Campus

·        Expand applied learning through programs and partnerships on South Campus

Based on Utah Tech University’s Vision Statement, the Steering Committee also developed the following guiding principles for the plan:

·        Welcoming & Accessible

·        Of the Desert, Distinct & Sustainable

·        Interactive & Active

·        Applied Learning & Community Partnerships

·        Mobility & Connectivity

·        Inspiring, Visionary, & Implementable

The new 2024 Master Plan was presented to and approved by the Utah Tech University Board of Trustees on September 27, 2024.
